When it comes to finding good group costume ideas, you only have to look as far as Comic Con to get some wonderful ideas. There’s a wide variety of concepts, so let’s look at some of the most popular for Halloween 2012:
Batman gets released this year, and between the superheroes and villains, it’s hard to decide which character you’d like to dress up as. True Blood always has rabid fans running about at Comic Con. You can have you and your friends dress up as the main characters, Sookie Stackhouse, Sam, Bill and the other vampires ready to feast on the blood of others on Halloween night.
Game of Thrones is a TV show about seven families fighting for control of the land, and it’s taken off in a big way as one of the hit shows everyone says is a ìmust see.î You and your friends will need to choose which family you want to represent and, since they’re all dressed somewhat differently, replicate their sense of Medieval fashion, from the poor to the extravagantly wealthy costumes.
The Big Bang Theory is a popular show and Comic Con attendants were excited to see the gang. You can dress your friends up with you as Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard and Raj, and you can choose between their everyday geek attire, or one of the costumes they’ve dressed up as on the previous seasons, like when all of them dressed as superhero Flash for Penny’s Halloween party.
You certainly don’t have to stick with Comic Con for ideas, but it’s a good indicator of what shows people aren’t only watching, but are absolutely rabid about as fans, and that’s sure to win admirers on Halloween night.
